Description

Selvage denims are woven with a continuous thread and are created using very narrow loom called ‘shuttle looms’. That way when the pattern is cut, the selvage can be included as the inner finished seam edge (distinguished most commonly with red color thread at ends). This process creates a stronger fabric so selvage denims tend to be tougher and last longer than regular mass denims. Our 'Turner denim' is also nep denim, which means it has been woven in such way that it produces special texture of snowy cotton balls protruding from surface. It will fade like most raw denim, but neppy fibers will become more evident in the appearance of the jean.
